- Over 25 years of experience in corporate Human Resources, with extensive knowledge of the hiring process. I have deep understanding of what managers and HR expect during the recruitment, interviewing and selection processes and I will explain the “insider secrets”.
- A certification as an advanced trainer for DDI’s Targeted Selection interviewing and selection program. I have taught hundreds of managers and trainers how to use this world-renown behavioral interviewing methodology and I will help you prepare for these challenging questions so you give the interviewers exactly what they want to hear.
- Extensive experience writing resumes and other marketing collateral (e.g., LinkedIn pages, cover letters, and handbills). Over the years I have written and/or enhanced about 200 resumes. I know what works and what doesn’t and my resumes will get you the interview.
- Highly developed competencies in listening, writing, teaching and coaching. I am comfortable adapting to the style that will help you achieve your goals. I am quick to give encouragement and confident enough to tell you about any areas of needed improvement.
- A certification in health coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. My motto is, “Healthy career, health you. Health you, healthy career”. While I am not a registered dietitian, and am not qualified to design meal plans, from time to time I may ask about how you are taking care of your body and mind and give advice. From personal experience I know that when we are not feeling our best, we cannot perform our best.
- A certification in professional coaching from The College of Executive Coaching. With it, and the experience that comes from working with hundreds of managers, I will help you define what you want, develop a plan to achieve it, hold you accountable and encourage you, and support you in achieving your goals.
My Style
People tell me I'm a natural coach. I conduct thorough assessments, support high quality goal setting, hold people accountable, encourage and offer advice that comes from deep experience in the business world, and information from the science of nutrition and biology.
My Myers-Briggs preference is INFJ and it's said of us that we "feel happiest and most fulfilled when helping others understand themselves and their problems".
